Sometimes good movies come and go and we don't make a notice of this. 'The Beaver' falls in the same category. I don't know how but after watching so many movies, whenever I see a clip of a movie or a scene, I know whether it is a good movie or bad. The sense proved right when I watched 'The Beaver'. When two multi talented actors like Jodie Foster who won two academy awards for best actress for The Accused (1988) & The Silence of the Lambs (1991) and Mel Gibson who won Academy Award for Best Director for his movie 'Braveheart' (1995) come together with a simple but beautiful story, what more can you expect. I never believed in box office collections a bench mark to reflect whether a movie is good or bad. Watch 'The Beaver' and you will love it.
