Hemant produced and gave music for this movie. He got nominated for 'Filmfare Award for Best Music Director' but lost to Shankar Jaikishan for 'Professor'. The soft romantic album has some of the all time hit songs, including Lata's haunting song 'kahin deep jale' for which Lata won 'Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer' and Shakeel Badayuni won 'Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist'. Than there is also 'bekarar karke' & 'zara nazron se' by Hemant. Love 'sapne suhane ladak' by Lata.
