Taxi Driver is one of the earliest composition which include the very successful combination of Navketan, Dev Anand & SD. S.D Burman got his first Filmfare Best Music Director Award for the beautiful song 'jayen to jayen kahan' beautifully penned by Sahir and soulfully rendered by Talat. Though the film is remembered for the classic 'jaayen to jaayen kahan', other notable songs include 'dekho mane nahin' & 'Chahe koi khush'.
